Columns of vatican
In 2009 St Peter’s Square and Bernini’s colonnade went through a restoration. The colonnade, seriously damaged by pollution, was first cleaned over a period of nearly five years to recover its natural colour. Then, to keep it clean and prevent the recurring graffiti, the Vatican laboratory tasked with restoration of monuments carried out a study to find the most suitable product with which to protect the famous travertine colonnades. After testing various solutions for two years, the laboratory selected ProtectGuard as the most effective and longest-lasting solution. Work began in October 2014 with nearly 4,000L of Protect Guard being applied by brush.

As part of the olympic development for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, the iconic structure that is the Beijing Olympic Stadium was created. More fondly known as the Birdcage,
After extensive testing ProtectGuard HD was selected to protect the 210,000m2 of granite paving surround the structure.

Westminister Paving - London
Westminister is home to the UK Parliament, and Downing Street including Horse Guard Avenue and Parliament Street and visited by millions of people every year. Due to the extensive pollution, chewing gum deposits and foot traffic the paving was in dire need of a rejuvenation.

After extensive testing Westminister city council approved Guard Industry products to complete the cleaning and protection.
A combination of Efflorescence and Cement remover, and Guard Wash was used to deep clean the paving. ProtectGuard HD was then installed to protect the paving long into the future.
Westminister City council is so impressed by the performance that it has approved ProtectGuard HD to be used on all future public relam projects.
